Walk through the entry gate, and find yourself in the middle of your own private personal resort. A lush tropical yard greets you as you walk past swaying palm trees to the front door of this unique beach-side home in the up-scale Lanikai neighborhood. The professionally landscaped property creates a welcoming, cool and private setting even on hot summer days. You just might have trouble pulling yourself (and the kids) away to get over to the beach with its powder-soft sand, 200 meters away. But when you do, we’ll make it easy for you with a ready supply of beach towels, beach equipment and a wide assortment of sand toys for the kids. This combined with this property’s beach-side location, makes enjoying frequent trips to the beach a highlight. When you do come back to “your home away from home”, take a dip in the solar-heated pool, which ranges from 86 degrees (summer season) to 78 degrees (winter season), or relax in your own private hot tub on those rare cooler days.

Windward beaches with their powdery soft sand and gentle protected waters are among the best swimming beaches in the world. The Mokulua Islands off shore have been included in numerous advertisements and movies. Take in the incredible scenery as you enter the beach, spend endless hours relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, or go for a stroll feeling the water at your feet, kayak out to the islands (we provide two single kayaks for guests), see a turtle or two, and hike up the ridge line for scenic vistas in all directions.
This home is one of the last few traditional Hawaiian-style beach cottages offering its guests an exceptional setting and truly unique Hawaiian vacation experience. It is updated to today’s standards, and tastefully decorated, while maintaining its traditional charm. There are two master bedroom suites and all of the bedrooms have wall-unit air-conditioning (no central air). The kitchen has marble counters and modern appliances. Hardwood floors throughout are easy on your barefoot feet. The house has an open floor-plan which is ideal for island-style living and delights with a casual elegance. It even boasts a rare fireplace (only common now in traditional Hawaiian homes).
We welcome families with children. The expansive yard and beach-entry pool are a child’s paradise! Paradise awaits!!
